International Matura – individual, flexible and recognised worldwide
International A Levels are an internationally recognised upper secondary qualification and open up study opportunities in Switzerland and around the world. At Academia Matura, the path to the International Matura includes six subjects: three at IGCSE level and three at A Level. This creates a clear, structured learning pathway that gradually prepares students for the more demanding A Level phase.
The advantage: students invest their time in the subjects that are relevant to their chosen degree programme and personal future. Subject choices are made individually and planned together with our advisors – always with a focus on the student’s goals, prior knowledge and realistic path to graduation.

As individual as your goal: private lessons, small group courses and self-study
At Academia Matura, students do not follow a fixed model. Instead, they follow a plan that fits their goals, schedule and learning style. Depending on their situation, time availability and preferred way of learning, they can combine private lessons, small group lessons, Flextime courses and guided self-study.
In private lessons, the focus is on personal support, individual pace and targeted development. Flextime courses take place in small groups of around five to eight participants and combine exchange with individual guidance.
Self-study does not mean studying alone: our teachers support students with clear learning goals, regular feedback and meaningful planning. This creates a learning process that prepares students not only for their exams, but also for their future studies.
From the International Matura to university
International A Levels open doors to universities and higher education institutions in Switzerland and around the world. What matters is not only the qualification itself, but also the right combination of subjects. That is why the journey at Academia Matura begins with a personal consultation: Where are you now?
