Current Affairs/MUN
Description
This Club offers students a platform to access information on politics and (inter)national affairs, exchange views and discuss issues of interest. At the same time, they are preparing to participate in the Model United Nations Conference (MUN). In this political simulation, students experience firsthand how the UN works and learn to engage in global issues – they develop skills of public speaking, formal writing, negotiation and conflict resolution.
Course instructor
Nayana Chakrabarti was already a passionate MUN participant during her own school days. She is convinced that expression, presentation skills, fluency and good persuasive skills are important for the further development of our students – skills that students will need in their further academic careers.
