Shelf Indulgence – Book Club
Description
In this club, different types of texts such as novels, non-fiction books and short story collections are read and discussed together.
The aim is to foster a lifelong relationship with independent reading and to facilitate discussions about literature.
Shelf Indulgence aims to help students learn about new literary works, but also to gain confidence in speaking and listening to the ideas of others.

Course instructor
Nayana Chakrabarti teaches English at Academia International School and is interested in world Englishes and literary diversity. As well as being a teacher, Ms Chakrabarti is an avid reader and writer whose work has been published in anthologies, magazines and essay-collections. In addition, she runs a monthly digital newsletter for young people living in Switzerland.

- At least 6 participants are needed to run a club.
- If the number of participants is limited, places will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis.
- Your registration is binding.
- In case of cancellation at short notice, we reserve the right to charge a contribution towards expense.
